I was born in the Chicagoland area and graduated from the University of Kansas in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science. I grew up very passionate about sports which then became motivation for why I wanted a career in fitness. I got my personal training certification through A.C.E and began working as a personal trainer, while also getting my Clinical Massage Therapy License. Needless to say, health and fitness was at the center of everything I did. After having children, I revisited the coaching scene but as a group fitness instructor. I fell in love with it immediately and knew that was where my heart was. More than anything, I love the community and how it makes me feel being surrounded with people who motivate and inspire me without even knowing it. Cannot wait to sweat with all of you!

I was raised in KC and have always had a love for sports and being active. After graduating from KU I began a career in real estate as a licensed broker in both KS & MO. Exercise always played a role in my routine but it wasn’t until after having kids (2 girls 1boy) that I began to really learn how to train for results, and became even more passionate about fitness. This passion lead to an opportunity to instruct and become A.C.E certified in 2014. Connecting with clients by watching them hit new milestones, become more confident and transform themselves mentally and physically is what motives me daily.

Born and raised in KC! I played about every sport imaginable. Movement has always been in my DNA. My love of teamwork, competition and possibly a little obsessed with sports performance training, led me to play NCAA D1 college volleyball along with my MS as an Exercise Physiologist.

Although I have had other careers in marketing and sales, my real passion comes from grinding in class and helping others grow on their fitness journey! I have a love love relationship for lifting heavy weights, curating banging playlists, and cooking in the kitchen with my fav cab! Cheers!

Considering I never stepped foot into a gym until the age of 21, I would say I found my fitness obsession later in life than most do. All throughout my childhood and college career, I was a competitive dancer who trained in ballet, contemporary/modern, jazz, tap, & hip hop. After receiving my BFA in dance at UMKC Conservatory, I found a new love – health & fitness. My mother has been involved with teaching fitness for over 50 years and she was the one who really introduced me to working out. It didn’t take long for me to connect with it and quickly became a passion of mine, taking classes first and eventually becoming an instructor. I’ve always been a teacher/instructor of some sort, but now NASM certified as a personal trainer, teaching classes & inspiring others about their health truly runs deep in my blood.

Biggest inspiration? My family

Favorite snack? White cheddar popcorn or apple with peanut butter
